From interaction with visitors, it was found that the experience of trekking at the foothills of Himalayas combined with cultural richness and hospitable people had resulted in a lifetime experience in the mind of visitors; and consequently, the destination recommendation to friends and relatives, has helped Nepal to sustain its arrival growth from Canada.

During the show NTB´s officials also met and interacted with media and invited them on a sponsored trip to Nepal for coverage and publicity while the major tour operators were personally met and briefed, as a gesture of courtesy and collaboration.

NTB officials also interacted with Ambassador of Nepal, Mr. Bhrigu Dhungana and his team, who had visited Nepal stall, for collaboration on consumer publicity and trade ties in different cities of Canada.

Around 17000 plus Canadian tourists visited Nepal in 2018 and the number is likely to increase with the impending Visit Nepal Year and series of promotional activities to be carried out in 2020.
