Nepal Promoted at ATM, Dubai 2017Friday, May 5th, 2017
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, April 28, 2017 - Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) along with five private sector tourism companies from Nepal namely Gokarna Forest Resort, Sea Link Travels & Tours, Kora Tours, Ananya Holidays, Aarya Village Travels participated in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) from April 24-27, 2017, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
More than 2,600 exhibitors and 25,000 buyers participated in the Business to Business (B2B) fair. The fair provided a platform for promotion of Nepal in UAE. Nepal showcased its image as a culturally and naturally rich destination with flavor of adventure. Middle East is coming up as a new market for Nepal. The direct air connectivity from Middle East to Nepal opens door for more tourists from the region.
Visitors at Nepal Stall put their queries on facilities and activities that Nepal provides at its best. Mr. Khadga Bikram Shah, Manager, and Mr. Suman Ghimire, Sr. Officer, represented NTB in the fair answered all the queries with the latest information and updates. The queries were about the season, activities, luxury amenities and places to visit in Nepal. Media professional and bloggers were interested in Familiarization Tours to Nepal.
Officials from Nepal Airlines updated on their flight schedules to Nepal from Dubai. The direct flight of national carrier has increased the confidence of the local tour operators from UAE to enlist Nepal in their travel itineraries. The mart is expected to boost the confidence of buyers to package and sell Nepal as an exotic and must visit holiday destination.
