Nepal Promotion at TTF & BLTM HyderabadFriday, August 11th, 2017
July 17, 2017, TTF & BLTM Hyderabad 2017 commenced on 14th of July concluded successfully on 15th July 2017 drawing a large number of visitors. There were altogether 249 sellers from more than 16 states of India and exhibitors from 12 countries. The most remarkable aspect of this event was the national presence of Nepal as Partner Country.
Nepal stall was located at a premium location in Hyderabad International Convention Center with an area of 45 sq m. It was in rectangular shape with 2 sides open. A LED screen was set up to showcase tourism products and destinations of Nepal throughout the event. Altogether 6 private participants from Nepal; Buddha Air, Apoorva Tours & Travels, Outdoor Himalayan Treks, Saraogi Nepal Travels, Fast International Tour &Travel and Sunrise Tours participated in the banner of Nepal.
Nepal Stall was decorated with big posters depicting culture, adventure, religious and leisure aspects. Different documentaries on Nepal were showcased repeatedly throughout the event. Various brochures like Pokhara, Travelers’ Information, Lumbini, Nepal Map, Kathmandu City Map, posters of Mt. Everest, Lumbini, Pashupatinath Temple and Muktinath Temple and gift items like Keyring, fridge magnets depicting mountain ranges, rudraksha bracelet, Nepali Wooden Windows, Lokta paper Diaries etc were also distributed to the Nepal Stall visitors. The most attraction was the sponsorship of Nepal branded carry bags which was distributed from the Organizer’s registration counter to the buyers and visitors because of which Nepal was visible everywhere in the program venue.
Since the 2 days fair is totally B2B, thousands of travel trade and members from the MICE, business and luxury travel sectors visited the show. And the last day was open to general public from 2pm. Moreover the co-exhibitors from Nepal were able to make B2B contacts and establish new business linkages and they also refreshed existing contacts as Hyderabad market is very much potential. The most of the queries were connected to Everest Region Trekking, Mansarovar Kailash Tour and Muktinath tour. Some visitors still enquired about Nepal’s conditions after the earthquake; hence it is very much necessary to spread the message about Nepal’s present situation through different medias based in India.
Most of the parties were busy with on the spot booking and were able to gain business, business contacts and promises. Nepal pavilions were facilicited, The Best Decoration Award by the fair organizers.
