Nepal Tourism Board made its maiden presence in the first ever Asian Culture & Tourism Exhibition 2019.This event is held as a sideline event of conference on dialogue of Asian Civilization. This particular tourism fair is observed as a platform to showcase Nepalese culture and heritage to the Chinese people. Nepal Academy and His Excellency Nepal Ambassador of China Mr. Lila Mani Poudyal had made their Nepal presentation during the conference.

The tourism exhibition is organized by Ministry of Culture and Tourism, People’s Republic of China from May 16 to 18, 2019 in Beijing National Agriculture Exhibition Center along with Embassy of Nepal and KGH Group made participation in this event. First two days of the fair was allotted to B2B meetings and trade visitors whereas the final day was opened to the public.

Chinese tourist arrival to Nepal in 2019 have topped the chart of total tourist arrival. Participating in this program have increased the awareness among Chinese masses as a heritage destination. Many visitors to the Nepal stall were interested in tangible and intangible heritage and culture in Nepal.

China and Nepal already being historically tied by various traditions, religions and cultures participating in this fair have rose the perception of Nepal culture as a major component of the Asian civilization.
