President of China Expresses Support to VN 2020 During Nepal VisitFriday, October 18th, 2019
Nepal welcomed the President of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Xi Jinping on Oct. 12, 2019. The President of China who was in Kathmandu on a two-day visit at the invitation of the President of Nepal Ms. Bidhya Devi Bhandari, met with the Prime Minister of Nepal and other Ministers and top officials.
The Chinese President expressed support and solidarity for the success of Visit Nepal 2020 and also said he believed Nepal was a popular tourist destination among Chinese especially in relation to the fact that Nepal is the Birthplace of Lord Buddha. President Mr. Jinping wrapped up his two-day state visit to Nepal with the signing of 18 memorandums of understanding and two letters of intent for cooperation and mutual benefit of the two countries.
