Nepal Tourism Board Participates in Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) in HyderabadTuesday, July 19th, 2016

HYDERABAD, India, July 19, 2016 - Nepal Tourism Board participated in Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) held from 15-17 July 2016 held at HITEX International Convention Center, Hyderabad in co-ordination with four Nepalese travel trade companies.

TTF is India’s largest travel trade show network. Since 1989, it has provided an annual marketing platform and the opportunity to network with the travel trade in all major cities of India. With about 50% market share, TTF is a leading travel show in India. Several states of India, international exhibitors like: Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, China, Bhutan, hoteliers, Indian tour operators participated in the show.

The beautifully decorated Nepal stall with cultural, natural, pilgrimage and adventure attraction won the Best Decoration Award in the international exhibitor category. Similarly, a Nepal exclusive destination presentation to the Indian tour operators and media was organized at TTF venue on 15 July 2016. Mr. Nabin Pokharel, Sr. Asst. Manager, NTB, had made a comprehensive presentation of Nepal to the attending audience on the occasion. Pilgrimage, cultural and natural attractions of Nepal were highlighted for the promotion during the fair. Most of the visitors at the Nepal stall had the interest in the tour package for pilgrimage, cultural and natural attraction and also had queries regarding post earthquake safety and security.

Hyderabad being the capital city of information technology of India and also known as Cyberabad has a high number of outbound travel with high income. Nepal having direct air connectivity from Bangalore/Kathmandu by Nepal Airline has a big market prospect in Hyderabad for tourism industry in Nepal.

The Nepalese private travel trade participants comprised of: Fishtail Tours and Travels, Earthbound Expedition, Satyam Travels & Tours and Woodland Hotel.
