NTB-CBI Sign MoU to Further Partnership in Digital PromotionWednesday, August 10th, 2016

KATHMANDU, Nepal, Aug. 10, 2016 - Nepal Tourism Board and Netherland Enterprise Agency/ CBI, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work in partnership for Digital Marketing and Promotion of Nepal. The MoU was signed on August 10, 2016, by Mr. Sunil Sharma, Officiating Director of Nepal Tourism Board, and Ms. Inge Sloekers, Program Manager from CBI – Netherlands, in the presence of NTB officials at NTB office at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The MoU will allow NTB to work with CBI to chalk out a priority plan and enhance the knowledge of different departments of NTB on the relevance of digital marketing for easy, accessible, time-saving and user-friendly communication with stakeholders and potential tourists.

With the current global communication trend and its widespread reach in providing information, NTB has initiated a revamp of its official website, splitting it into DMO and trade sites to ease the audience and reach out to the target group. Other important digital projects in the pipeline include building a plan, creating market focused websites and social media sites, continuously improving the quality of the content on website and social media through proper market research and attention to details.
